Back to Kyiv before on to Sumy EMS Symposium and Competition

Saying goodbye to Olga and Kristina was not fun but Sergei and I today trekked on to Kyiv by new InterCity train. New and fast. A far cry from the trains here 20 years ago.

Then it was to dinner with Dr. Vitaliy Demyanchuk. I met Vitaliy when he was still in training at Amosov Heart Institute about 15 years ago. Now he is a leading heart surgeon here in Ukraine. He has operated on many people that I have referred to him from Vinnitsa Oblast and whom we have supported. Lately including Pastor Roman Lebedyev of Vinnitsa Nazarene Church.

Now he is going to meet more patients in need that I met while in Vinnitsa.

As you can see he bought me a Ukrainian hockey jersey. With my name on it. Good colors for the Nashville Predators too!!πŸ’πŸ’πŸ’πŸ’πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦β€ΌοΈβ€ΌοΈβ€ΌοΈβ€ΌοΈ

Our gift exchange included a new watch for him.

Tomorrow after a good morning walk it is off to Sumy.
